We spent Christmas Day last year in Washington at my parent's house. It was a full house with the Hansen five, my parent's, Timothy and Melissa, Brock and Kristen, and Sheila and Gordie. The kids loved opening their presents of course and were pretty happy with all their loot.

Arizona Cousins

We always LOVE to go visit cousins! This time was especially fun because Nick and Rebecca have moved into a new house with land behind it. The kids ran around outside for hours and rode on the 3-wheeler with Trent.

We went to witness Alana being baptized. What a special day for her!

Baseball season is here...

It's that time of year again for us. Tyler is playing for the Pinto Angels this year. He started off the year with a bang catching a pop fly off the first batter they faced. The next play was a grounder to him and he threw out the batter at first base. He still struggles at bat and we are not sure why. He hits a lot in the cage with Trent and has the potential to be a very good hitter. I think that he is still nervous facing a pitcher. In his second game he hit over the second baseman's head and made it to first. It was a great hit. He was able to steal second and third and then his team member got out ending the inning. He team only has three returning players and all the others came up from Shetland so they are a very young team this year. They are doing well in the outfield and struggling at bat. We don't expect to win many games this year, but we sure are proud of how is playing. I expect that he will just continue to get better as the season progresses.
